Our little buddy Jackson came in today for his follow up after having his lip and tongue tie corrected with a soft tissue laser. He’s now feeding like a champ and mother is no longer having pain when nursing. Thank you for allowing us to share your story.
Our little friend Colin came in today for his follow up from his lip and tongue release procedure. He was having difficulty nursing and gaining the proper weight due to a significant lip and tongue tie. Today Colin’s mom was happy to report that since the procedure Colin has been able to nurse effectively and has already been gaining weight. Thanks for swimming by little buddy and letting us share your story.
This is little miss Stella. She was having a very difficult time nursing due to a significant lip and tongue tie. Because the movement of her lip and tongue were so restricted, she was unable to form an adequate latch and feed effectively. Nursing was difficult for Stella and painful for her mother. We were able to use a soft tissue laser to correct the lip and tongue tie and now both Stella and her mother are doing much better. That looks like the relaxed face of a full tummy! The Shoreline Pediatric Dentistry crew spent the morning teaching the kids at Children’s Park Leaning Center about the importance of oral health. We dressed the kids up like teeth and brought Winston the Whale’s giant toothbrush to show everybody how to clean out all the treats they got from Valentine’s day.
